Free Initial Consultation
- We will visit your home free of charge
- Understand your property & ideas
- Answer your questions and highlight potential challenges or opportunities specific to your project
- Offer honest advice on feasibility, budget & challenges
- If you have already reached full approval stage we can compile a quotation for your build based upon the drawings supplied by your design team
Planning Pack
If you would like to take things further following our initial visit but have yet to appoint a design team we can:
- Explain the full process of building an extension, including planning, design, permissions, and construction stages
- Introduce you to a selection of architects so you can appoint one directly
- Assist your chosen designer with your design and help with creating plans, obtaining building control approvals, and advising on planning permission or permitted development rights if required
- Provide a clear, detailed quotation outlining all materials, labour, and timelines — with no hidden costs
We charge a one-off fee for our planning pack service of £250 + VAT. This fee will be deducted from our quotation should you decide to proceed with the build in partnership with ACL GP Ltd.
Once you are ready to commit to constructing your dream build and have decided to appoint us as main contractor we will proceed with the following steps:
Step 1 – Pre-Construction
- Our qualified construction site managers will formulate a full construction phase plan, identifying logistics of the build and covering all Health and Safety legal requirements
- The site manager will identify any design items that still need to be finalised, and work with you to finish them
- The site manager will formulate a construction program taking into account any lead times for specialist equipment that may have been selected
- Notification to any statutory bodies that may be required
- Notification and liaison with neighbours that the project is starting and may affect them occasionally
Step 2 – Construction
- Our qualified tradesmen carry out the work with professionalism and care
- We keep you updated at every stage with regular client meetings on site
- Continued liaison with yourself and the design team regarding any design changes to ensure they are incorporated quickly into the build
Step 3 – Completion
- We carry out thorough snagging and hand over a clean, finished space
- All projects have a workmanship guarantee of between 3-12 months
- All products used have a minimum guarantee of 12 months and in some cases much longer
- We provide a site file containing all information about the build and including all guarantees and warranty documentation
